The World is Our Parish

Our Mission:

To Invite, Embrace, and Empower All

to be the Family of God in Christ

Robert W Barrick (Pastor Bobb) - Lead Pastor

That's not a typo.  Bobb really does have three b's, (ask me about that sometime).  I have a desire for all to know our living Lord Jesus personally.  I want each one to know that they are loved by the Creator and that in His love, God is just and merciful, gracious and forgiving.  He never gives up on us and yearns to be in a deeply loving, transforming and purposeful relationship with us.

God's Son, Jesus, showed the depths of love to us when he voluntarily gave His life on the cross for us, that in His death we might have forgiveness for those things that estrange us from God.  The life that we have because of His sacrifice, is at work in us now and continues when this life on earth is over.  Jesus is our hope and our strength for each and every day.

I pray that you will be open to God's touch to the extent that you will describe your experience as "filled with His Spirit."  Amazing things happen when we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor, Iowa native. Married to Susan with whom he has four children. Graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of General Science degree.  Earned a Master of Divinity degree from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, MO.

Michael Bell - Ministry Assistant / Youth Leader

I came on staff as an assistant pastor in December of 2014. I enjoy the opportunities I get to preach in both of our services. I also enjoy serving through the worship band ministry in our 11am service. My other responsibilities include ministry to both our middle and high school students.

My great passion and desire is to see the people of God meet with Him by reading the Bible and asking the Holy Spirit to allow them to apply it to their lives.  I love to see believers who have a real desire to become disciples of Jesus Christ. As a teenager, I have always wanted to serve the Lord in the church and see Him change the lives of people.

I was born in Muscatine, IA and grew up south of the Quad Cities area in a rural farming community. I did spend a few years in the Chicago suburbs. My wife Christina and I have two boys Henry and Eli. I receive my Bachelor’s degree at Christian Life College in Mt. Prospect, IL.

In my free time I enjoy big and small adventures with my wife and kids. You might see me running through your neighborhood, as running is a favorite sport of mine. When I’m not running around town you can find me reading a good book.
