What is your policy for dropping off and picking up children in your nursery? 

Children are a blessing at FUMC! We welcome newborn babies through age 3 in our nursery and toddler rooms, located in the Education Center. Young children may be dropped off for nursery care as early as 8:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

 Must I be a member to participate in Church activities?

 No, our ministries are open to anyone that would be interested in making a difference in the world and serving in Jesus’ name.

 Can anyone participate in Communion?

Yes, our communion table is open to all people that know and love God or desire a relationship with God.

 How can I find out more about the United Methodist Faith?

I want to meet people and develop deeper relationships.  How can you help with this process?

In part we offer a Sunday Fellowship Hour at 9:30 in Webb Hall. Join us and meet people!  We also offer men's and women's groups to help deepen the friendships made. 

How do I find the Church

 We are located on the corner of South 3rd St and 7th Ave South in Clinton Iowa. Visit our Connect page for detailed maps.

What times are Church services

We worship on Sunday mornings in our sanctuary at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.  Our 8:30 service is a Traditional Service and our 11:00 service is a Contemporary service

 Do I have to be a member to get married in the church

No, it is an extension of our ministries to the community. 

Do I have to be a member to have my child baptized in the church

No, although we do encourage families to have their children baptized in a church they plan to raise them.

Upcoming Events

Palm Sunday - April 14th - 9:30 A.M.

The Chacel Choir will share their Easter Cantata.

 

Holy Thursday - April 18th - 7:00 P.M.    

A meaning service recalling the last supper of our Lord, the prayer in the garden, and Jesus'arrest.

Taking Holy Communion and a foot-washing ceremony will be part of the service.

 

Good Friday - April 19th - 7:00 P.M.  

The Victory Center will present "The Witness" - a dramatic presentation about the life of Jesus.

 

EASTER SUNDAY  

Sunrise Service at 7:00 A.M. on the riverfront            Meet on the deck of the Candlelight Restaurant.

      Easter Celebration Service  - 9:30 A.M.                In the Sanctuary.  Refreshments will be served by the                                       RENEW Student Ministries.
