Our Mission:

To Invite, Embrace, and Empower All

to be the Family of God in Christ

Church & Society

Our mission is help children and families who are in need and are struggling to survive.

We've "adopted" the kids at Bluff Elementary School, hold fundraisers for Information and Referral Services, fund donations to the Angel Tree, sponsor Harvest Hurrah and donate food baskets, Christmas Gifts to the community and our own Emergency Food Bank.

THANK-YOU!   THANK-YOU!

Twenty-seven families were able to share a delicious, traditional Thanksgiving meal with their families because of your generosity!

Fifty-nine adults and seventy-eight children were able to share this traditional meal because of your generosity!  Most of the families shared their thankfulness, not only for the food, but for the coats and for the books they were also able to take home.  Thank-you again!

Beginning on Sunday, December 3, we will have Angel Tree tags available after each service.

Each tag has a child’s name and a gift suggestion, as well as a date to return the gift.  (12/17/17-noon).

Angel Tree is a ministry of Prison Fellowship; parents who are incarcerated complete an application for their children to participate in the ministry.  Children are assigned to churches, and gifts are purchased for the children on behalf of the incarcerated parent.  Each child receives two gifts, one is clothing and one is something fun.  Cost of each gift is set at fifteen to twenty dollars.

We have participated in this Angel Tree ministry for SEVENTEEN years, and couldn’t continue it without your help and love for children!

A SAVIOR IS BORN hosted by PETE BRISCOE

 Has Christmas lost its significance?

It's one of the most familiar stories in human history: the birth of Jesus in a lowly manger in Bethlehem. A Savior, which is Christ the Lord. Yet, how can we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Savior in our frantic, consumer-driven society? How do we make sure the Christmas holiday remains a Holy Day?
